We have a dust-free & antistatic lab for repair facility. We undertake repairs up to component level for any Electronic system & up to component & track level for a Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
Forklift Battery Maintenance :
As traction battery services, we like to stand by our product and ensure that you get the maximum life out of your battery. The key to ensuring maximum battery life is regular battery maintenance.
Why carry out regular maintenance?
Through our maintenance program the batteries will be under the care of our highly skilled technicians, who will be able to provide you with detailed information, on the performance of the battery. Battery abuse and cell failures can be identified at an early stage, ensuring that the appropriate action can be taken immediately, and prior to any further damage being caused.
Under the maintenance program we carry out a thorough inspection of each battery, on a monthly basis, and the following information is gathered:
- Voltage of each cell is recorded. Cells that are lagging are marked and brought to the attention of the supervisor, for further monitoring.
- Specific Gravity of each cell is recorded and should there be any adjustments required, they can be done onsite.
- All connectors are checked, ensuring that there is no corrosion within the connector. Any damaged connector will be replaced onsite, reducing the risk of cell failures and possible electrical sparks.
- Electrolyte level of each cell is checked, and topping up where necessary. Any cells found dry will be recorded and should the same cells be found repeatedly dry, the supervisor will inform the client and request that the appropriate action be taken.
- The top of each cell is cleaned, in order to reduce the tracking voltage. Tracking voltage constantly drains the battery, even when not being used, which in turn reduces the total capacity of the battery.
- A detailed report is generated on each battery, indicating all areas of concern.
- Battery water is supplied, sufficient to last till the next monthly visit.
- Battery will be transported to our workshop
- Strip all cells out of the battery bin.
- Inspect condition of the battery bin, and re-paint tank
- Build the entire battery back into the battery bin.
- Reconnect Inter-Cell Connectors and Bolts. (Replace if necessary)
- Carry out a full charge and controlled discharge test.
- Produce a detailed report of the actual capacity of each cell over 5 hours.
- Client is informed if any of the cells have failed after the discharge and need replacement.
- Battery is charged back up to full capacity, and prepped for delivery.
Hydraulic Component Services:
Although we specialize in excavator components, the Pump, Motor and Valve department at HRD has the in-house capability of repairing and testing all brands of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and winches. That includes Main Pumps, Swing Pumps, Swing Motors & Travel Motors. Our philosophy is “if it has hydraulic oil in it, HRD can repair it.”
The repair process is quite simple:
- Step 1: Give our sales staff a call and we will let you know if your unit is one that we are able to repair.
- Step 2: We will take your unit, clearly marking that you are looking to be quoted for repair.
- Step 3: For FREE, we will breakdown and evaluate your unit to determine the problem.
- Step 4: If repairable, we will send you a price and delivery time for the repair or inform you if the unit cannot be repaired.
- Step 5:Approve the fix and we can start working on it.
If you choose not to repair the unit, please let us know how you would like it shipped back to you or if you would like us to scrap it here. All repaired units are thoroughly tested at one of our dedicated test sites.. Just like all of our new, remanufactured, and Benchmark units, your repaired unit carries a full warranty.
Generators Services Repairing Maintenance:

The Service Department consists of highly skilled and experienced Engineers to work on CUMMINS, PERKINS and VOLVO Engines, headed by a Senior Service Engineer.
We areequippedwithanexcellentandexperienced groupofserviceengineers, who possess the skills to carry out the Servicing, Rectification’s, Trouble Shooting and Major Overhauling of the Generator Set.
The main aim of our company is to provide values to our customers. In consultation service, customers will be given a chance to have a detailed discussion regarding the requirements of the product, outage planning, scope of work, schedule, recommendations, parts, AMC, as well as the interested client will be briefed regarding the latest offers.
Our company also provides technical services which include routine maintenance of generators, oil change, filter change, repair and electric work services.
Al Buraq also Provide AMC contracts (annual maintenance contracts) for standby generators, our qualified team will assure the machine in ready condition to start at any time.
